Well Earth Hour as been and gone. We switched off lights where possible, excluding hall lights for safety reasons for the guests and we're sure that nobody knows we did except for ourselves and you now as you're reading this!! We were disappointed that the lights at Whitby Abbey were left on, it wouldn't have harmed for them to go off and would have had some people talking about why, but we are pleased about the general media coverage which has been more than we expected.We hit the Gazette again on Friday because of our nomination for "GTBS Best Performer Shortlist". They still manage to misinform about the napkin issue, but nevertheless it can't do us any harm. We're off to Harry's Bar tonight, one of our favourite places to eat in town, to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
